DAEMON is my alter ego; my muse; my nick-name; my creation.  He is evil... sort of. His home is on a small planet somewhere in this huge galaxy.  He spends months at a time asleep in his home, you could say he hibernates.  He only gets up and does bad things which are almost exclusively killing and eating those who woke him or get in his way.  As far as he knows, he's the only one of his kind and that makes him feel as though he is a ruler of sorts of the simple minded natives who live near him. Though they resist, he often picks them off as snacks before he goes back to bed. He has a rather simple life, free from distraction.  He spends his waking and non-hunting days in thought and sometimes he draws on his walls.  He is my inner, savage artist.  Free to do and say what he wants.

    For the comic his personality had to be altered in order to produce a funny comic strip. In the comic he is shown as being talkative, wakeful, predominantly interested in videogames and friendly with at least one other character: Jigglypuff.

   I use JIGGLYPUFF to portray my love. Though I hold no great affinity towards Pokemon I do think of love as having all the qualities of Jigglypuff (i.e. round, soft, bubbly, etc.). Though representing "love" in general Jigglypuff takes on the characteristics and interests of  my fiancée. Any interaction between DAEMON and Jiggypuff most likely occurred in my real life. The fact that Jigglypuff is incomprehensible is my way of showing that love makes no sense.

   The infant metroid, STEVE, is how I represent things that are foreign, unexpected or simply strange. In the comic Steve's purpose is to cause DAEMON grief through argument. I get my ideas for this character's arguments from my real-life arguments with my peers and society in general. If Steve expresses a belief it is most likely because I think some or most of society feels that way about something. Though DAEMON wants to get rid of Steve he's not going anywhere anytime soon and there doesn't seem to be much that DAEMON can do about it.
